Drawing skill is not necessary. We learn interesting techniques to paint photo-realistic style art, using acrylic paints. Group participation is encouraged in the learning process. Each artist also has opportunity to show their completed work at the Zions Bank gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things to bring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acrylic paints (can be craft paint or acrylic sets)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acrylic (synthetic) paint brushes in various sizes, including a 1&#8243; flat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canvas (stretched), canvas panel board or acrylic paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A palette to mix colors (paper plate is okay)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graphite transfer paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small spray bottle (optional, but helpful)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tracing paper may be helpful<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ceramics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No experience necessary! Bring your own bisque or green ware, or purchase items in class. We have<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/coa.washco.utah.gov\/st-george\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/0815191253_HDR.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/coa.washco.utah.gov\/st-george\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/0815191253_HDR-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1159\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">our own kiln. We use glaze and acrylics &#8211; pay for what you use or bring your own. The ceramic room is open for you to work on your project. Work on projects, learn new techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things to bring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Board &#8211; 16&#8243; x 20&#8243;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Five colors of oil paint (red, yellow, black, ultramarine blue, white)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three brushes &#8211; 1\/4&#8243;, 1\/2&#8243;, 1&#8243;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linseed oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Odorless paint thinner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photo or picture to paint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;Watercolor Painting &#8211;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From beginner to advanced painters are welcome in this class.
