Dial-a-Ride provides transportation to those who are 60 years of age or older to medical appointments, the post office, or shopping in Springdale, for a suggested donation of $3.00 one way or $5.00 round trip. The bus runs from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday. Transportation service to Hurricane (M – Th) and St. George (Wed afternoon only) is available through the Hurricane Senior Center for medical or shopping needs. If you would like to schedule transportation, please have the following information available when you call: your full name, address, and phone number; date you wish to schedule a ride; complete name & address of your destination; if requesting transportation to an appointment, provide the time you wish to be picked up at your home as well as the time of your appointment; time you wish to be picked up when finished with your appointment or shopping. NOTE: please allow a 15 minute window on either side of your requested pickup time.
Round-trip transportation is also available to bring seniors to the Springdale Meal Site for lunch, Tuesday and Thursday for a suggested donation of $1.00.
For those under 60 years of age and disabled, there is a charge of $3.00 one way or $5.00 round trip.
