Meals-On-WheelsMeals on Wheels is a service provided to those who are 60 years of age or older, unable to leave their home without assistance from someone else, and unable to drive.  The Meals on Wheels program is available throughout Washington County and provides a nutritionally balanced meal & beverage (2% milk), following the dietary guidelines of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U. S. Department of Agriculture.  The Hurricane Senior Center serves the Springdale area.  Meals are delivered Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 10:30am – 2pm.  On Tuesday, two meals can be delivered upon request.  On Thursday, three meals can be delivered upon request.  This provides a total of five meals available each week.  There is a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal.

Please call the Hurricane Senior Center at (435) 635-2089 and ask for Downna to verify eligibility and sign up for the Meals on Wheels program.

An outreach worker will visit you within the first two weeks of signing up to assist with any questions.
